Top Ten Tuesday: 2014 Releases I meant to read but didn't get to.
brought to you by: the broke and the bookish

Jeni's Picks:
1. The Witch with No Name by Kim Harrison: I've read every book but the last one. This is a bad habit of mine, not finishing series.
I wanted to read this but a couple of my friends weren't to happy with it. So I lost interest in reading it.
3. Allegiant by Veronica Roth: Another book where everyone assumed I read it and talked to me about how it ended so I'm not sure I want to read it.
4.Mirror Sight (Green Rider #5) by Kristen Britain: I was going to read this until I found out that she was writing another one. So I've decided to wait to read it because she takes forever to write books.
5. To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Hahn: This book looked cute and I actually bought it but every time I picked it up I decided I wasn't in the mood to read it.

Emily's Picks

1. The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg This book popped up on an amazon add, and it looked like something I would read, so I bought it.  And then promptly forgot about it.
2. Madly Deeply by Erica Crouch. I like retellings.  This one is based on Edgar Allen Poes Annabel lee.
3. The Glass Casket by McCormick Templeman.  This is a retelling of Snow White, except it's creepy.  It's waiting on my goodreads list.
4. The Fall by Bethany Griffin. I actually started this one, it was at my local library of all places...(I say sarcastically) But I couldn't get into it.  I thought it was written too confusingly.  I will have to revisit it some other time.
5. Bird Box by Josh Malerman. This books looks interesting, and creepy.  And the description kind of gives nothing away.  Which I love.  And because there are already over 275 books on my kindle, it might have to wait to be bought.

  1. Nice list! I really liked BIRD BOX. It's similar to other dystopians, but it's unique, too. I don't know how to describe it any better than that -- you just have to read it :) THE PAPER MAGICIAN is one I definitely plan to get to soon.

    Happy TTT!
