Top Ten Tuesday: My Summer TBR list
brought to you by: the broke and the bookish

Jeni's Picks:

1.Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo

I haven't read the second book in this series yet because I'm tired of waiting for books in trilogies. I feel like I forget so much from the last books that I need to reread them. So I just wait till all the books are out to read them.

2. The Ruby Red Trilogy by  Kerstin Gier
I have read the first and the second book but its been so long I need to reread them so I can finish the series.  My niece swears I well love the ending.

3. Icefall by Matthew Kirby
I'm having my book club girls read this in July so I get to read it with them. We loved his book The Clockwork Three.  We have high hopes Icefall will be just as good.

4. One plus One by JO JO Moyes
I can't wait till this arrives on my doorstep. I have enjoyed all her books so far and am pretty sure this will be a fantastic read.

5. Hunter's Trail by Melissa F. Olson (Scarlett Bernard #3)
This one might not count as a summer read because it comes out September 2nd but I'm looking forward to reading it.

Emily's List

1. Defy by Sara B. Larson. This book, because it has been sitting on my shelf, and I really need to read what is on my shelf.
2. The Unwind series by Neal Shusterman. The first book was strange, and I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I have the entire series now, and I would like to see how this author works.
3. Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay. I have heard a lot of great things about this book, and I love to try retellings, so this one seems like it would be a great try.
4.The Machine by James Smythe. This book popped up while exploring Good Reads, so I thought, why not?
5. Touchstone by Laurie R. King. I loved this author's book about Sherlock Holmes, so I'm willing to branch out to her other series, and see if it was pure luck that I liked her writing, of if she is really is that good.
